Writing down what you’re grateful for each day helps you concentrate on what you do have, not what you don’t have.

At the start of each day, along with your purpose, passions, goals, daily tasks, and priorities, I want you to write down 3 things you’re grateful for.

I have found this to be helpful in being thankful for my blessings. It will also be a way to give you a better perspective on life.

Every day won’t be good, that’s just how life works. But even on your worst days you can always find something to be grateful for.

Keeping a list of what you are thankful for can help you:

  • Feel happier, according to a study conducted by researchers from the University of California, Davis and the University of Miami.
  • Become more optimistic about life, reported the New York Times. Experience longer and better sleep
  • Increase physical and mental well-being, which in turn increases energy levels.
  • Have more friends and better relationships.
